Slender Man’s Revenge Reborn Roblox Game Review ✅

In this Slender Man’s Revenge Reborn Roblox game review, we’re going to cover the good, the bad, and the ugly for this game. As one of the many horror titles you can pick up for Roblox, it’s got a lot of competition. However, this game manages to stand out because of its similarities to the mainline Slender Man games. Namely Slender: The Eight Pages, and Slender: The Arrival. I know many people will be excited to play this game because it has Slender Man in it. I can assure you though, that doesn’t necessarily mean this is a good game.

The Good

  • Intense and scary gameplay
  • Fun for a few playthroughs
  • Immersive horror experience

The Bad

  • Not much replayability
  • No soundtrack
  • Restrictive sprint limitation

Premise

slender-man-premise

The concept of this game is exactly the same as Slender: The Eight Pages. Players are dropped into the map in one of several spawn locations. From there, they need to walk and run around the map collecting the pages that have been scattered at various locations. As players gather the letters, Slender Man will begin to hunt them.

Gameplay

Slender Man himself is quite a unique character. He acts the same way as he does in every game he’s in. He will appear at a distance at first, scaring players more than anything. Then though, he’ll begin to approach them, getting closer and closer. Eventually, he’ll start to try to catch players, and that’s when they need to be sprinting.

The player’s view will begin to cloud with Slender Man’s face as he gets closer to catching them. If he does, the player will die and be taken back to the lobby. The lobby is actually quite a nice area to hang out with other players. You have a selection of spawn points to choose from here, making it easier to move around the map and gather letters without being caught.

Too Much Running

One downside of needing to ruin quite a lot is the restrictive sprint meter. Players can’t sprint for very long, and once the meter has been depleted, they can easily be caught by Slender Man. Clearly, the game is meant to be balanced in a way that makes it difficult for players to avoid this enemy. I do think that everyone could do with more sprint power though.

I thought it wasn’t great because the game has little to no value once you’ve played it two or three times. The scare factor is gone, and you know exactly what to do. All that happens is that you get more and more frustrated with the spring mechanic. It’s fun as a one-off game but more than that, and you start to grow weary of it.

There’s an in-game store that allows you to buy useful items. There’s even a way to kill Slender Man. Both of these remove that fear though, and I think the game is better when you play it as if the store doesn’t exist.

Audio

There’s nothing to write home about with this game’s soundtrack, mainly because it doesn’t have one. The sound does kick in when running or when Slender Man is chasing you. This is good, but it’s not enough to keep the game interesting in those quieter moments. The caveat is that the lack of sound makes your first playthrough incredibly tense. Perfect for horror fans.

Verdict

That’s the end of our Slender Man’s Revenge Reborn Roblox game review. Overall, I think it’s a competent horror title, just not one you’d play more than a handful of times. You could even get most of the experience through watching a good video of someone playing the game. I found one that seems to convey the gameplay quite well below.
