Top 5 Minecraft Dungeons Coolest Armor
- Mystery Armor
- Battle Robe
- Hero’s Armor
- Evocation Robe
- Splendid Robe
1) Mystery Armor

The Mystery Armor was voted as the coolest armor in Minecraft Dungeons. It’s not really hard to see why; it looks pretty incredible if a little strange. But what is it that makes this piece of armor in particular so cool and interesting?
The answer lies in the stats. Most armor in Minecraft Dungeons will drop with 2-3 standardized properties. These can enhance the player in many ways. Mystery Armor is different, though, because those properties are completely randomized. It can drop with some really random properties, but that’s what makes it so fun and useful. You might get a bogus drop the first time around with some really useless stats, but if you keep on farming for it, eventually, you’ll get an incredibly powerful armor piece.
How to get it?
As for how to get Mystery Armor, there are a couple of ways. First, you can try farming adventures, namely the Soggy Swamp, Desert Temple, and Dingy Jungle. The Nameless One mob can also drop it, or you can sometimes pick it up from the Blacksmith. If you’re looking for the best randomized rolls, I’d go for adventures and killing the Nameless One, though.
2) Battle Robe

The Battle Robe would get my vote as the coolest armor in Minecraft Dungeons, but that’s based purely on looks. This robe is fantastic because it makes you look incredibly powerful, even if you’re a complete novice.
One of the best things about the Battle Robe is that most players call it ‘Brobe’. This gives it an almost frat house-like mythology as if you become a really knowledgable bro as soon as you put it on.
The properties the ‘Brobe’ drops with are +30% to melee damage, and -25% to artifact cooldown. You might expect this item to push magical powers, and it does in one sense. However, the ‘Brobe’ knows that sometimes you need to get up close and personal, and gives you a buff just for that.
You can pick up the ‘Brobe’ from the Creepy Crypt, Redstone Mines, or Frosted Fjord adventures. you can also get it from the Blacksmith if you’re lucky. One caveat to this is that you’ll need to be playing in Apocalypse mode, which is not easy at all.
3) Hero’s Armor

This is another piece of armor that you’ll only be able to get by playing in Apocalypse mode. In this mode, you can acquire it from the Blacksmith, or through adventures in Cacti Canyon, Arch Haven, and Lone Fortress.
Hero’s Armor is your typical hero archetype armor. It looks like a hero would wear it, which is probably why most players are drawn to it. I wouldn’t say I like the way it looks that much, but I can definitely see the appeal, particularly if you want to look like a knight.
This armor has a lot to it when it comes to properties. Firstly, it’ll add a certain amount of health to the player, dependent on when you pick it up. It will also add a 35% damage reduction to any incoming hits. The armor also has a couple of abilities, one that provides a 40% boost to health potion cooldown, and another that makes your health potions heal nearby allies.
However, this armor has a huge disadvantage attached to it. When worn it will attract the attention of more mobs, probably because it’s so shiny. Wear this armor at your own risk, or go for the completely non-reflective ‘Brobe’.
4) Evocation Robe

Now, this is a robe that I can get on board with. It’s not quite as good looking as the ‘Brobe’, but I’d still take it in a pinch over the Hero’s Armor. You can pick it up from Soggy Swamp, Soggy Cave, Obsidian Pinnacle, or Panda Plateau in Adventure Mode. don’t worry, the Blacksmith will also sell it too.
The Evocation Robe has stats that differ depending on your power. Check them out below.
Power | Min Health | Max Health |
---|---|---|
1 | 3 | |
5 | 13 | 17 |
10 | 33 | 37 |
15 | 57 | 63 |
20 | 87 | 94 |
25 | 124 | 132 |
30 | 168 | 178 |
35 | 223 | 235 |
40 | 290 | 305 |
45 | 372 | 390 |
50 | 473 | 495 |
55 | 596 | 623 |
60 | 747 | 780 |
65 | 931 | 973 |
70 | 1158 | 1208 |
75 | 1435 | 1497 |
80 | 1774 | 1850 |
85 | 2190 | 2283 |
90 | 2700 | 2814 |
95 | 3324 | 3463 |
100 | 4088 | 4259 |
105 | 5025 | 5236 |
108 | 5685 | 5921 |
The abilities you’ll get with the armor are a -25% artifact cooldown, and a +15% to movespeed aura. This armor is all about being fast on your toes and using magic to its full effect. Unlike the ‘Brobe’, it doesn’t understand that sometimes you just need to hit things.
5) Splendid Robe

Of course, the last item on the Minecraft Dungeons coolest armor list is another robe. I’ll admit that it looks much better than the Evocation Robe, but the lack of a big purple hat is very disappointing.
Unlike the rest of the items on this list, the Splendid Robe can drop randomly from any enemy. This includes areas such as Redstone Mines, Creepy Crypt, and Frosted Fjord, so head over to them and go nuts.
This robe will drop with a few varying stats as well, check those out below.
Power | Health |
---|---|
74 | 1381 |
104 | 4888 |
107 | 5661 |
108 | 5899 |
The abilities it drops with are a +50% artifact damage boost, a +30% to melee damage, and -25% artifact cooldown. These abilities are definitely better than anything you’ll get on the Evocation Robe, but it doesn’t look quite as cool.
There we have it. As voted for by you, the coolest armor in Minecraft Dungeons is the Mystery Armor. However, unofficially I would say that the coolest armor is the ‘Brobe’. If you’ve got your own piece of armor that you think should be on this list, please let us know what they are in the comments.
