As a gamer, I know that it can be hard to find the best CSGO crosshair for 2019. I’ve tried so many different crosshairs and looked up what the pro players say about this subject. In this article I’m gonna take you on an in depth guide to finding the crosshair that suits YOU. As I was researching what the pro players were using and saying about their choices to their customized crosshairs i realized there are so many options out there, and it is very personalized.

My goal with this article is that you will be able to customize your own crosshair and personalize it as much as possible for your needs. Hopefully you’ll have a better understanding on what you want to get out of your specific crosshair and how to customize it yourself, whether it is the looks of it, getting a better movement or aim.

Things to consider

Choosing the style of your crosshair is not all about the looks or just using whatever any pro player is using cause it might not serve what you actually need in your game-play. First of all you need to look at what you want and need to improve to take your gaming to the next level. Example, if it’s the movement you’re looking to improve you would probably want a classic type of style for your crosshair. (I will talk more of why classic styles helps your movement down below). Do you want to get more accurate with your aim use a dot until you’re comfortable enough to remove it. Maybe it’s the spray that you want to improve so therefore a larger crosshair is something to consider.

However, what I’m trying to say here is that there’s many ways to customize it for your specific needs if you just know how to do it. There’s a lot of good crosshairs out there but we want to find the best CSGO crosshair for you.

Crosshair for movement

Not a lot of people think about using your crosshair to get a better movement, or a better aim by improving your movement for that matter.

Default Classic crosshair is great for movement, it shows when you’re ready to shoot a bullet again and still have 100% control of the accuracy, it also comes with a dot which is great for ‘’tapping’’. The crosshair also moves with your bullets which makes you connect better with your bullets. I truly recommend everyone to use this crosshair if you can improve your movement since it is one of the most essential skill sets to take your gaming to the next level.

Try the Classic crosshair which comes without a dot and doesn’t move while shooting if you’re a high end player or would like to focus on your spray more.

Accuracy

Try using a dot as your crosshair. It gives you the real ‘’tapping’’ experience and it’s a good way to always know that you’re aiming on the enemies head.

Type this in your console for a Dot crosshair:
cl_crosshairsize 0
cl_crosshairdot 1
cl_crosshairthickness to the size of the dot

This is one of those crosshair that could be good to use for a few weeks and then shift to the standard Classic static style and get rid of the dot.

Now that you’ve got to know the basics of choosing a crosshair it might be good to have a look at what the pro players are using.

Olofmeister – Rifler

This crosshair is a great crosshair if you want a clean, simple and neat style to it…

It’s great for spray and also very thin so it doesn’t come in the way of seeing small details that could be necessary throughout your game.

Olofmeister’s one of the best riflers in the world and if you’re a rifler I truly recommend you try this crosshair out.

Stewie2k

Stewie2k uses a similar one to Olofmeister and you will see that most of the pro players uses very similar ones with some customization.

Stewie’s crosshair is slightly thicker than Olof’s but it’s also smaller. Try it out and see if it’s the right customization for you.

KennyS

Once again, you see a similar one to the previous once mentioned.

This one is about Stewie’s size but has a smaller gap. The bigger difference to this crosshair is that it’s light blue.

s1mple

Image result for s1mple

S1mple is considered to be one of the best, if not the best CSGO player in 2018. S1mples crosshair is really one of the interesting ones out there. It’s a extremely tiny green crosshair with a dot in the middle. It also moves with your recoil. Try this crosshair out and play 10k hours+ and you might just become as good as s1mple one day.

Tarik

This one is for some reason seen more amongst NA player than EU ones. It’s basically a customized default crosshair, made as minimal as possible and made static. It’s neat and if it works for such a beast as Tarik, it’s good enough for you too.

Summary

Don’t just have a look at what the pro players are using. Make sure you know how to customize your own crosshair with the help that’s been given in this article. Using your own customized crosshair will make it the absolute best crosshair for you and you’ll be able to change it after some time or even during gameplay. Remember to start with the basic ones that’s not a ’’static’’. This is the style that makes your crosshair move with your movement and therefore helps you improve your movement and will therefore make you an improved player. When you feel that your crosshair is on point you should start experimenting with sizes, big, thin, thick or maybe just a dot. Now use this information, create the best CSGO crosshair and dominate your enemies in the field.
